quick tip: Doctor Office's a hot sales target

The stimulus package will bring us some new places to look for business and increase sales. One such niche is medical IT records integration.

Since the switch to electronic medical records, locating a patient's record will take 30 seconds, tops. Before, it could take up to 24 hours if the record was in storage; months if it was misplaced.
"I can't imagine going back to paper," Dr. Tuhina Raman said. "I can spend more time talking to my patients now."
Congress' $787 billion economic stimulus package is designed to get more doctors on board with Pulmonary Associates, a local specialty with 14 doctors and two nurse practitioners and offices in Stanton and Wilmington.

Look to smaller doctors offices to look for new potential leads. They will need everything IT to help in getting the stimulus money.
